Terms of Service
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Acceptance
By using Zodiac Origins, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. These terms exist to keep expectations honest on both sides; they are short, and we mean them plainly.
Nature of the content
Everything on this site — sign profiles, test results, compatibility scores, five-elements guides, the calculator — is cultural and entertainment content based on Chinese folk tradition. It describes a body of folklore; it does not describe scientific findings, and it makes no factual claims about you or anyone else.
Nothing here is professional advice of any kind. The site offers no medical, psychological, financial, legal, relationship, career, or other life-decision advice, and nothing on it is a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. If you make a decision after reading this site, the decision — and its consequences — are your own.
Intellectual property
The original content of this site — the writing, design, illustrations, the personality test, and our compatibility scoring model — is the copyright of the site operator, Zodiac Origins. The underlying folk tradition — the Great Race legend, the Earthly Branches, the traditional compatibility relations, the five elements — belongs to everyone, and we claim no rights over it.
You are welcome to share excerpts for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution and, where practical, a link back. Wholesale republication of our pages, or commercial use of our content, requires our permission.
Acceptable use
Please do not: scrape or bulk-copy the site at scale; misrepresent its content, for example by presenting it as scientific fact or attributing to us claims we do not make; interfere with the site’s operation; or use the site for any unlawful purpose.
No warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Folklore has variants; websites have outages.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, or for decisions made in reliance on its content. Where applicable law does not allow some of these limitations, they apply to the fullest extent that it does allow.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest revision, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. We will keep them as short and as plain as we can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator’s place of establishment, unless mandatory law in your place of residence provides otherwise.
